Bill Callahan Will Be Fired

After watching Nebraska's current dismal season, it seems hard to believe that head coach Bill Callahan will not be fired at the end of the season. Currently, Nebraska is 5-6 and needs to beat Colorado just to become bowl eligible. Their defense is atrocious, they gave up 76 to Kansas.

The AP has a story about Callahan's future at Nebraska. According to the article, Nebraska athletic director Tom Osborne is not sure whether Callahan will be fired at the end of the season. But in the end, I don't think these comments really mean anything. Of course Osbourne is not going to say Callahan will be fired, until Callahan is fired. So in the end, I don't think it really matters, because it seems quite obvious that Callahan is going to be canned.
